Speaker of the Arab Parliament Mishaal Bin Fahm al-Salami has valued the UNESCO’s resolution that reaffirms the invalidity of the Israeli occupation’s actions in Jerusalem.
In a press release on Wednesday Salami said that the UNESCO’s renewed adoption of a resolution in favor of Palestine confirms that the conscience of humanity supports justice and opposes the occupation and its illegitimate policies.
He stressed the need to fulfill the UNESCO’s request to send a permanent mission to Jerusalem to monitor Israel’s actions and to protect the historical cultural and religious identity of the holy city.
The Arab Parliament official called on the UN Security Council to take necessary measures to compel Israel to stop all its Judaization activities in the city.
