Israeli settlers carrying light weapons on Tuesday came down heavily on Palestinian shepherds in the northern Jordan Valley.
Eye-witnesses said Israeli settlers escorted by armed officers stormed Khilet Hamad in the northern Jordan Valley and forced Palestinian shepherds out of the area at gunpoint.
Sometime earlier Israeli settlers set up makeshift homes and barracks for raising livestock on Palestinian land in the area.
Palestinian families living in the area have also often been forced out of their homes and tents by the Israeli occupation army under the guise of military drills.
