Israeli settlers in al-Khalil on Saturday attacked and violently beat a number of Palestinian youths under the cover of the Israeli army.
The PIC reporter said that the settlers stopped a group of Palestinian youths who were heading to their homes in Tal Rumeida neighborhood and assaulted them.
An Israeli settler hit the Palestinian youth Hasan Abu Eisha 19 with a rifle butt on the head. Abu Eisha fell on the ground and was transferred to a local hospital for treatment.
Tension has prevailed between the Palestinian citizens of Tal Rumeida and fanatic Israeli settlers living in adjacent settlements.
