The Israeli occupation army claimed that two Palestinian rockets were fired at Israeli settlements neighboring the Gaza Strip on Saturday evening.
The Israeli army said in press statements that the Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted one of the rockets while the other landed in the Gaza Strip.
Sirens were heard in Israeli settlements close to the Gaza Strip while some settlers reported hearing explosions.
Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper said that the Israeli army conducted a large-scale combing operation in a number of settlements to find out where the rockets fell pointing out that no one was hurt and no damage was caused.
