The Hamas Movement on Tuesday said that the Israeli ongoing persecution and detention of Palestinian activists and leaders will not weaken the Palestinians’ determination to confront the Israeli crimes and regain their rights and lands.
In a press statement the Movement said that arresting the ex-prisoner Faze’ Sawafta and the ex-prisoner and activist Nader Sawafta reflects the blunder and confusion of the Israeli occupation.
“The crime of detaining the two freed detainees Faze’ and Nader Sawafta who had spent many years in Israeli jails will neither break their will nor undermine the role of the Palestinian activists in confronting the Israeli occupation” the Movement affirmed.
It added that such arrest campaigns will not grant Israel security calling on the Palestinian people to mount their resistance remain steadfast and confront the Israeli occupation and settlers in defense of Palestinian lands Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Earlier at dawn the Israeli occupation forces arrested the Palestinian activists Faze’ and Nader Sawafta after storming their homes in the Tubas governorate.
