The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched on Tuesday night and at dawn Wednesday a campaign of arrests in various areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem. Several Palestinians were arrested including released prisoners.
In Nablus IOF arrested the ex-prisoner Samer Yasser Douglas and raided the home of the released prisoner Saeed Muhammad Hajji and tampered with the contents of his home in Burqa town north of Nablus.
IOF arrested Mujahid Ashour from his house in the Krom Ashour area of Nablus after storming the city.
IOF also arrested Salem Harzullah from al-Ain refugee camp at the western entrance to Nablus and broke into the Hawari fuel station in Hawara south of Nablus and smashed its windows.
On Tuesday night IOF arrested the student Musab Istityeh at al-Najah University while he was passing through the Za’tara checkpoint south of Nablus.
In Jenin IOF stormed Qabatiya town south of Jenin and arrested Anas Tazazah 36 after raiding and searching his family’s home.
In Tulkarem the IOF soldiers raided the city and were deployed in the suburb of Shweika and near Thabet Hospital.
In Qalqilya a force of the occupation army stormed several citizens’ homes and arrested the two brothers Maher 56 and Samer Ali al-Ra’i 43 and Yusef Mazen Hweitat in the Kafr Saba neighborhood after storming and searching their homes.
The IOF soldiers also arrested the 28-year-old Muayad Samih Assaf from Kafr Laqif village east of Qalqilya after they raided and searched his house.
In Ramallah IOF arrested the ex-prisoner Mahmoud Safi from Deir Abu Mashaal village west of Ramallah.
IOF raided Jalazoun refugee camp searched several houses and stormed al-Bireh city and the Satah Marhaba neighborhood.
In al-Khalil IOF stormed Beit Kahil town in the north and arrested Ayham Mahmoud Asafra after raiding his house searching and tampering with its contents. Issam Rizk Sayara was arrested from Kharas town while he was in his workplace in 1948 Occupied Palestine.
Meanwhile IOF raided several neighborhoods in al-Khalil and searched several houses in the Jabal Jawhar area.
In Occupied Jerusalem the Israeli police arrested Alaa Naguib from the al-Wad street in the Old City.
The IOF soldiers continue their daily search and arrest campaigns and terrorize residents especially women and children. These campaigns are usually followed by confrontations with Palestinian youths.
