The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a large-scale raid campaign in different parts of the West Bank overnight and at dawn Friday which led to the outbreak of armed clashes.
Palestinian resistance fighters opened fire at an Israeli military checkpoint set up at Mount Gerizim south of Nablus.
A similar shooting operation targeted a military checkpoint at Jabal Sabih south of the city.
In Jenin two resistance operations targeted the Dotan military checkpoint southwest of the city and the Al-Jalama checkpoint northeast of the city.
In Occupied Jerusalem clashes erupted after the Israeli forces stormed Silwan town south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
An Israeli military vehicle was targeted with Molotov cocktails during the clashes.
Meanwhile arrests were carried out after IOF troops stormed Taqu` town southeast of Bethlehem.
Several local homes were stormed during the raid while the secretary of the Fatah movement Muhammad Salim al-Badan and his brother Fadi were detained.
Similar clashes erupted in the nearby Al-Khader town south of Bethlehem.
In Nablus IOF arrested the young man Imad El-Din Aslam after breaking into his family house and closed Hawara checkpoint for several hours.
On the other hand a group of settlers carried out several attacks against Palestinian citizens in Hawara town.
