Arrests home break-ins reported in predawn sweep by Israeli army

A number of Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at daybreak Thursday in abduction sweeps rocking the West Bank.

The Israeli forces wreaked havoc on civilian homes in Salfit’s northern town of Deir Estiya and kidnapped four Palestinians among them the tow brothers Khalil and Thaer Hakim.

At the same time hundreds of Israeli settlers stormed Kafl Haris town north of Salfit allegedly to carry out religious rituals at holy shrines.

Eye-witnesses said Israeli army patrols rolled into Kafl Haris late at night sealed off the main entrances to the town and cordoned off residential neighborhoods shortly before hundreds of settlers showed up in the area and performed sacrilegious rituals.

At the same time Israeli troops broke into civilian homes in Tulkarem’s Nour refugee camp and aggressively attacked Palestinian inhabitants before they kidnapped three young men. Another Palestinian was kidnapped by the IOF at the crack of dawn from the city.

Palestinian citizen Wajih Awad was also kidnapped by the IOF from Bethlehem province.

Overnight extremist Israeli settlers stormed Palestinian lands in the evacuated Homesh settlement near Silat al-Dhuhr town south of Jenin and stoned Palestinian vehicles parked in the area. The settlers also yelled “death to Muslims and Arabs”. Israeli patrols showed up in the area moments later to protect the Israeli assailants.

A number of Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in abduction weeps rocking West Bank provinces at predawn Thursday.

The IOF stormed Nablus province at the crack of dawn and kidnapped two Palestinians—15-year-old Mohamed Daraghma and 24-year-old Sarhan Daraghma.

Overnight youngster Abdul Salam Dawabsha from Nablus’s southern town of Duma was kidnapped by the IOF at the Jaba’ checkpoint.

At the same time heavily-armed Israeli patrols rolled into Jenin’s towns of Berkin and Wadi Berkin before they kidnapped four Palestinians among them relatives of slain Ahmed Jarrar.

The occupation forces further ransacked homes belonging to the Jarrar family using sniffer dogs. Sounds of explosions and heavy gunfire were detected all the way through the assault.

The Israeli military also sealed off Jenin’s western entrance blocking Palestinians’ access out of and into the area.

Meanwhile three Palestinians were kidnapped by the IOF from Tulkarem province.

The campaign culminated in the abduction of two Palestinians from Ramallah province in the central occupied West Bank and two others from al-Khalil to the south.

A number of Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces at daybreak Thursday in an abduction sweep rocking West Bank provinces.

Reporting from Nablus a PIC news correspondent said the Palestinian young man Ali Ziyada was kidnapped by the Israeli forces from Madama town to the south.

The Israeli soldiers also kidnapped the Palestinian young man Mohamed Salem al-Ashkar 26 from Nablus’s al-Ein camp after they subjected his family members to aggressive beating.

Youngster Rani Dweikat was kidnapped by the occupation soldiers from his family home in Nablus’s southern town of Beita.

Israeli military patrols sealed off the main access road to Asira al-Shamaliya north of Nablus with a makeshift checkpoint where Palestinian vehicles and civilians have been subjected to intensive inspection.

At the same time dozens of Israeli soldiers rolled into Palestinian automobile repair shops in Shweika area in Tulkarem and seized all vehicles carrying Israeli registration plates.

The assault culminated in the abduction of a number of Palestinian civilians from their homes in the city. The list of arrestees included Amjad al-Tini and Nasri Abu Ayesha among others.

A number of Palestinian civilians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at daybreak Monday in abduction sweeps launched across the West Bank and Jerusalem.

The Israeli army claimed in a statement responsibility for the abduction of four Palestinians on allegations of involvement in anti-occupation activities.

The campaign targeted two Hamas activists from al-Jalazoun refugee camp north of the central occupied West Bank province of Ramallah a Palestinian citizen from Jerusalem’s northeastern town of Anata and another from al-Samou’ south of al-Khalil.

The IOF stormed al-Issawiya village in eastern Occupied Jerusalem and kidnapped the Palestinian boy Mohamed Atiyeh after they wreaked havoc on his family home.

Youngster Ramzi Abu Meneh was also kidnapped by the Israeli forces during an assault on Bethlehem province.

The Israeli soldiers further arrested a Palestinian student identified as Jalal al-Arrabi in al-Jalazoun camp north of Ramallah.

Meanwhile the occupation troops rolled into Jenin at the crack of dawn and ravaged Palestinian homes and commercial shops in the city’s western corners. The IOF further seized surveillance cameras and sealed off the Jenin-Haifa access road with a makeshift checkpoint where Palestinian vehicles and passengers were subjected to intensive inspection.

The assault comes a few hours after Palestinian resistance fighters attacked the Israeli Salem military camp west of Jenin province using firearms.

The Israeli army patrols raked through al-Sila al-Harithiya al-Yamon Zabbuba and Rummana villages in the hunt for the alleged anti-occupation gunmen.
