Violent clashes broke out Thursday evening between Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and Palestinian youths protesting against US recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel.
At least two persons were injured with live ammunition when confrontation erupted near Ramallah and al-Bireh in the central of West Bank.
Also in Ramallah IOF suppressed a peaceful march organized near Ofer prison in solidarity with Palestinian female prisoners.
Two activists were arrested during the march while others suffered breathing problems after inhaling tear gas.
Similar clashes were reported in al-Fawar refugee camp south of al-Khalil when IOF brutally broke into the camp amid heavy fire of tear gas bombs.
Meawnhile IOF continued to close for the second consecutive day the main entrance to al-Fawar camp blocking Palestinian movement in both directions.
