Several Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at daybreak Thursday in abduction sweeps rocking West Bank provinces and Jerusalem.
At least six Palestinians were kidnapped by the IOF from Nablus province including ex-prisoner Mohamed Meshaal and 28-year-old young man Bahaa Taqtouq.
According to eye-witnesses Israeli army patrols cordoned off Rafidia neighborhood and the Old City of Nablus at the same time as another IOF troop was spotted in the city’s western corners.
Israeli soldiers raided Ourata town overnight in the second such assault in less than five hours. Military patrols further showed up in Kafr Kalil and the vicinities of the Western Cemetery along with the Danish Park in Nablus.
The West Bank sweep culminated in the abduction of the Palestinian citizen Miqdad al-Qawasmi from al-Khalil province and Luay al-Tamimi from Ramallah’s western town of al-Nabi Saleh.
Meanwhile Palestinian citizens Amer al-Khatib and Sufiane al-Khatib were kidnapped by Israeli forces from Hizma town east of Occupied Jerusalem.
