Aruri warns Israel of opening “gates of hell” in holy month of Ramadan

Tuesday 29-March-2022

Deputy head of Hamas’s political bureau Saleh al-Aruri said on Monday that his Movement had sent a definitive message to the Israeli occupation state that its aggressive practices at the Aqsa Mosque and against the Palestinian prisoners during the holy month of Ramadan would “open the gates of hell.”

In an interview conducted by al-Mayadeen satellite channel Aruri said that any Israeli attempt to prevent Muslim worshipers from entering the Aqsa Mosque or assault them during the holy month of Ramadan would lead the situation to explode.

He also warned of serious consequences if the hunger strike in Israeli jails continued during the holy month affirming that his Movement informed all the concerned parties about these concerns.

The Hamas official pointed out that there were feverish efforts recently by the occupation government and regional and foreign countries to contain what could happen during the holy month.

Aruri also said that the Sword of Jerusalem battle last year unveiled that the occupation state lacked community security when the Palestinian masses in 1948 occupied Palestine rose up in support of their compatriots in Jerusalem and Gaza.

He added that the West Bank also played a major role in the Sword of Jerusalem battle affirming that it had engaged in the battle in a deeper way than what was covered by different media outlets which were more focused on the events in Gaza.

He warned that if another battle broke out the entire West Bank would explode in the face of the occupation state.
