Member of Hamas’s political bureau Husam Badran has affirmed that the Palestinian resistance will not remain silent for long on the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip.
In press remarks to Anadolu news agency on Wednesday Badran said that the coming days would prove to everyone that the resistance would not fail its people adding that “the leadership of the resistance sent clear messages that the Sword of Jerusalem is still unsheathed.”
He stressed that all the Israeli attempts to evade the last ceasefire understandings over Gaza would not work adding that Hamas is in constant contact with Egypt and a number of mediators to ease the siege on Gaza.
However he said that his Movement’s contacts with mediators have yet to yield any significant or tangible progress that can be sensed by the population of Gaza especially with regard to the reconstruction efforts.
The Hamas official reiterated his Movement’s rejection of any Israeli preconditions for solving the humanitarian crisis in Gaza or having a prisoner swap deal.
