GAZA (PIC)– Dr. Ahmed Bahar the acting PLC speaker has asked all PLC members to attend a special session on Saturday morning in Gaza and Ramallah for a confidence vote on the new PA unity government.
Dr. Ghazi Hamad spokesman of the caretaker government said in a press release that the premier Ismail Haneyya asked Bahar in a message on Wednesday to call for a session to listen the government’s policy statement and then to vote on it.
He quoted Haneyya as saying that the upcoming government would accord top priority to the issue of releasing PLC speaker Dr. Aziz Duwaik and all deputies and ministers kidnapped at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces.
