GAZA (PIC)– The PLC on Wednesday urged the Arab and international parliaments to immediately act to check the Israeli occupation’s policy of kidnapping Palestinian lawmakers.
Dr. Ahmed Bahar the acting PLC speaker condemned the IOF crimes of kidnapping PLC member Hatem Qafisha less than two months after releasing him the killing of three resistance activists and expanding settlements in the West Bank.
The acting speaker in a press release said “We view with absolute seriousness the occupation’s crimes against our people and its escalation of aggression in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip”.
He charged that occupation targets escalating tensions and dragging the Palestinian resistance to respond to its aggression in an attempt to foil the Makkah agreement which united the Palestinian arena.
Hamas for its part issued a statement strongly denouncing the IOF abduction of Qafisha from his home in Al-Khalil city.
The Movement said that such a “savage policy” would entail devastating repercussions on those planning and executing it.
Hamas also condemned the IOF murder of three Islamic Jihad activists at dawn Wednesday affirming that resistance is a legitimate national and religious duty.
Such “Zionist practices” prove to the entire world who is the aggressor and who is the victim the Movement concluded.
