Ahmed Bahar first deputy speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council has phoned the family of martyr Ahmed Naser Jarrar who was killed by Israeli soldiers on Tuesday morning and hailed his bravery and fortitude.
“Our people raise their heads high for the heroism of martyr Jarrar who did not surrender to the occupation and kept resisting until he used all bullets in his possession” Bahar told the martyr’s uncle Hatem Jarrar over the phone.
Bahar strongly denounced the use of excessive force by Israeli soldiers against Jarrar affirming that all laws of the world give the peoples under occupation the right to resist their occupiers.
“The occupation will pay dearly for the assassination of Jarrar” the lawmaker stressed adding that “there are thousands of heroes like Jarrar who will burn the ground under the feet of the Zionists.”
He also condemned the Palestinian Authority’s security collaboration with Israel. “Without security coordination the occupation would have never been able to reach martyr Jarrar who devoted himself to defending his country and land.”
