GAZA (PIC)– Acting PLC speaker Dr. Ahmed Bahar has urged PA chief Mahmoud Abbas not to attend the Annapolis conference in the USA and to call rather for a Palestinian comprehensive national dialogue.
Bahar addressing hundreds of participants in a DFLP-organized rally on Monday in front of the PLC headquarters in Gaza city said that the autumn conference would only be a “waste of time and would not achieve anything for the Palestinian people”.
The autumn conference’s main target is to support occupation Bahar charged before the audience who came to protest the Israeli tightened siege on the Gaza Strip and asked the Arab and Islamic countries to boycott that gathering.
The occupation government would exploit the conference to provide a cover for its aggressive practices against the Palestinian prisoners in its jails and for its measure of reducing fuel supplies to Gaza that would lead to a human catastrophe.
He advised Abbas to organize a Palestinian national conference that would defend Palestinian constants in face of the Israeli dictates.
Bahar in conclusion hailed the Palestinian resistance fighters who defend the Strip in face of the IOF daily incursions and aggressions.
