Bahar urges Arab parliamentary union to form int’l court for Israel’s crimes

MUSCAT (PIC)– Dr. Ahmed Bahar the acting speaker of the PLC urged Sunday the participants in the fifth conference of the Arab parliamentary union held in Muscat to adopt a set of steps to support the Palestinian resistance and to form an international court to prosecute Israeli war criminals.

Dr. Bahar underlined that the Arab and Muslim leaders also must assume their responsibilities in defending the occupied city of Jerusalem and providing all forms of support for its people in order to strengthen their steadfastness in the face of Zionist attempts to judaize their city.

The acting speaker called for not politicizing the reconstruction issue condemning US conditions for reconstructing Gaza as unfair and a political blackmail at the expense of the displaced and homeless citizens.

He also invited the members of the Arab parliamentary union to visit postwar Gaza to see with their bare eyes the reality of the war crimes committed by Israel.

Israeli officials admit losing media war:
Meanwhile Al-Quds newspaper said Monday that Israeli officials admitted that they lost the public relations war against the Palestinians and the images of massacred children settled the battle in favor of the Hamas Movement.

According to the newspaper the Israeli ministry of foreign affairs stated that the military operation of cast lead carried out by the IOF troops on Gaza led to growing hostility and hatred against Israel all over the world.

Spokesman for the foreign ministry Yigal Palmor told Yediot Ahronot that the European citizens do not care about what Israelis say but about the pictures from Gaza that exposed the Israeli atrocities adding that one picture from Gaza equals one thousand Israeli spokespersons.

The newspaper underscored that the new wave against Israel included angry protests around the world demands for boycotting Israel and severing diplomatic relations with it.
