Ahmed Bahar acting speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) has warned that the Israeli occupation state tries to impose its full control over the Aqsa Mosque and divide it temporally and spatially through its persistence in allowing Jewish settlers to defile it on a daily basis especially during their religious occasions.
In press remarks on Monday Bahar said that such ongoing Israeli violations against the Aqsa Mosque would lead the situation to explode in the occupied territories.
Bahar appealed to parliaments and parliamentary organizations around the world to take practical positions in support of the Aqsa Mosque accusing the occupation state and settler groups of exploiting their religious occasions to desecrate the Mosque.
The lawmaker called for necessarily supporting the steadfastness of the Muslim worshipers who defend the Aqsa Mosque against Israeli violations.
He also urged the Arab and Islamic countries to take action against the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Mosque and renounce and criminalize the normalization of ties with the occupation sate.
