Thursday 9-March-2017

Mayor of Baqa al-Gharbiyya town in 1948 Occupied Palestine lawyer Mursi Abu Mukh issued an order to call for prayer through municipality’s loudspeakers in challenge of the Adhan ban bill which was passed by the Israeli Knesset in the first reading on Wednesday.

The bill bans the use of loudspeakers to call for prayer (Adhan) in mosques within the Green Line and Occupied Jerusalem.
