Ali Baraka a member of Hamas’s Arab and Islamic relations’ bureau revealed that Ismail Haneyya Hamas’s leader will arrive soon in Lebanon on an official visit in which he will meet with Lebanese leaders.
Baraka explained in an exclusive interview with the Palestinian Information Center that Haneyya will be leading a senior-level delegation during his Beirut visit.
He stressed that Haneyya and the leading delegation will hold meetings with officials and leaders of the Lebanese parties during which they will discuss developments of the Palestinian cause and the Lebanese-Palestinian relations.
Haneyya will be also meeting with leaders of the Palestinian factions to discuss the course of action against the American “deal of the century” the normalization projects the Israeli annexation plan and the methods to confront them Baraka underlined.
He emphasized that the meeting of the secretaries-general of the Palestinian factions which will be held next Thursday in Beirut aims to unify the Palestinian ranks and strengthen the home front to face the challenges facing the Palestinian people.
Baraka pointed out that Haneyya’s tour in Lebanon will include a visit to Palestinian refugee camps and Lebanese cities to express Palestinian solidarity with Lebanon after the unfortunate incident in the port of Beirut.
