The Israeli occupation forces killed 12 resistance fighters and we shall respond in due time Islamic Jihad leader Khaled al-Batesh said on Sunday evening.
Speaking with the Mayadeen TV Channel al-Batesh vowed that the Islamic Jihad Movement will not remain silent vis-a-vis the assassination of its resistance fighters.
Al-Batesh’s comments were released in response to the threats made by a senior Israeli officer against the Islamic Jihad and Hamas in which he vowed to take revenge of Palestinian resistance fighters in case they respond to the latest tunnel blast by the Israeli army.
Twelve anti-occupation militants were killed a couple of weeks ago in an Israeli aggression targeting a resistance site east of Khan Younis south of the blockaded Gaza Strip.
