The number of Arab facilities demolished last year in Bedouin communities nearly doubled over 2017 Haaretz newspaper reported.
According to the Israeli Public Security Ministry in 2017 there were 2220 structures demolished overall compared to 1158 in 2016.
Over 70 percent of the demolished homes dismantled by the owners themselves under threat of heavy financial penalties the sources added.
