Speaker of the Parliament of Lebanon Nabih Berri on Wednesday praised the Palestinian resistance and the steadfast people in the Gaza Strip following the latest Israeli aggression on the enclave.
Berri said in a speech he delivered that resistance is the only solution to end the Israeli occupation.
A two-day tension flared up in the Gaza Strip after the Israeli occupation forces killed seven Palestinian resistance fighters on Sunday evening east of Gaza.
Palestinian resistance groups responded to the attack by firing hundreds of rockets toward Israeli settlements neighboring the Gaza Strip.
Seven other Palestinians were killed by Israeli airstrikes on civilian targets on Monday and Tuesday.
