Rescue teams in Gaza retrieved three bodies of Palestinian workers from an underground tunnel in Rafah south of the Gaza Strip on Friday.
The three workers were declared missing since Thursday evening.
The concerned authorities are following up on the incident said Iyad al-Bozom the interior ministry spokesman in Gaza.
Workers in the area said that toxic gas was released into the tunnel from the Egyptian side after which contacts with the three workers were cut off.
