The boycott campaign in Palestine has strongly condemned the intention of a delegation of the Indonesian Sunni Muslim Organization Nahdlatul Ulama headed by Yahya Staquf to visit Israel next week.
In a statement on Sunday the campaign stressed the importance to refuse such visits especially religious ones because they give Israeli occupation an official and legitimate status which leads to more criminal practices against Palestinians.
The campaign hailed the Indonesian role in supporting the Palestinian people and cause as well as in defending the Palestinians’ rights and holy places.
The boycott campaign called on the Indonesian government and people to continue boycotting Israel and to exert more efforts in order to isolate the Israeli occupation and to expose their crimes.
The campaign also called for pressuring Israeli occupation authorities to stop the Israeli repeated violations and siege against Palestinians.
