Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Friday that 11 deaths and 1555 new cases of the coronavirus were recorded during the last 24 hours.
Kailah confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the new deaths were recorded as follows: al-Khalil 1 Salfit 1 Bethlehem 1 Nablus 2 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 2 Qalqilya 1 the suburbs of Jerusalem 2 and Gaza Strip 1.
She stated that the new infections were distributed according to the following: Jericho and Al-Aghwar 52 al-Khalil 335 Salfit 86 Bethlehem 202 Tulkarem 78 Nablus 166 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 287 Qalqilya 39 Jenin 58 Jerusalem suburbs 95 Tubas 29 and the Gaza Strip 128.
The new recoveries were recorded as follows: Jericho and Al-Aghwar 8 al-Khalil 139 Salfit 70 Bethlehem 0 Tulkarem 57 Nablus 44 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 99 Qalqilya 40 Jenin 39 the suburbs of Jerusalem 0 Tubas 14 and the Gaza Strip 138 the minister added.
Kailah pointed out that there are 100 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 33 who have been placed on ventilators.
She noted that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 91.3 percent while the rate of active infections reached 7.6 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
