Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Monday that 12 deaths 928 new cases of the coronavirus and 1355 recoveries were recorded in Palestine after conducting 4609 examinations during the last 24 hours.
Kailah confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the deaths were distributed as follows: Dora 1 Nablus 1 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1 the suburbs of Jerusalem 1 the Gaza Strip 6 and Jerusalem 2.
She stated that the new infections were recorded according to the following: Tubas 26 Qalqilya 12 Nablus 61 Salfit 33 Tulkarem 51 the suburbs of Jerusalem 30 Jenin 53 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 7 al-Khalil 54 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 95 Bethlehem 32 the Gaza Strip 317 and Jerusalem 157.
The new recoveries were distributed as follows: Tubas 28 Qalqilya 18 Nablus 165 Salfit 28 Tulkarem 76 Jenin 40 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 8 al-Khalil 24 Ramallah 113 Gaza Strip 541 and Jerusalem 314 the minister added.
She noted that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 89.5 percent while the rate of active infections reached 9.4 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
Kailah pointed out that there are 95 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 21 who have been placed on ventilators.
