The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Sunday that two deaths 403 new cases of the coronavirus and 410 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 93.9 percent while the rate of active infections reached 5.0 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The new infections were distributed as follows: Tubas 21 Tulkarem 24 Nablus 46 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 94 Bethlehem 30 Salfit 8 al-Khalil 25 the suburbs of Jerusalem 9 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 5 Jenin 13 Qalqilya 3 and the Gaza Strip 125 the ministry added.
It pointed out that there are 57 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 19 who have been placed on ventilators.
