Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Monday that 28 deaths 1564 new cases of coronavirus and 2145 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours.
Kailah stated in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 14 deaths were recorded in the West Bank as follows: al-Khalil 2 Bethlehem 3 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 2 Salfit 1 the suburbs of Jerusalem 1 Tulkarem 1 Qalqilya 2 and Nablus 2 in addition to 8 deaths in the Gaza Strip and 6 in Jerusalem.
She said that the new cases were distributed according to the following: al-Khalil 201 Jenin 131 Nablus 239 Tulkarem 70 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 224 Salfit 29 Qalqilya 48 Tubas 32 Bethlehem 101 Jerusalem suburbs 117 Jericho and Al Aghwar 15 Gaza Strip 157 and Jerusalem 200.
The new recoveries were recorded as follows: al-Khalil 79 Jenin 93 Nablus 280 Tulkarem 114 Bethlehem 337 Salfit 93 Tubas 38 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 116 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 9 Gaza Strip 740 Qalqilya 48 and Jerusalem 198 she added.
The minister noted that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 79.8 percent while the rate of active infections reached 19.4 percent and the death rate was 0.9% of all infections.
Kailah pointed out that there are 95 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 30 who have been placed on ventilators.
