Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Sunday that 3 deaths 422 new cases of coronavirus and 772 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
She stated in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the new COVID-19 victims were identified as a female 83 from Beit Sira in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh. She was suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes. Another female 77 from Tulkarem and she had pneumonia and pulmonary failure. The last death was recorded for a 14-year-old girl from Halhul in al-Khalil and she was suffering from kidney failure.
The new cases were distributed as follows: al-Khalil (71) Nablus (27) Bethlehem (32) Qalqilya (1) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (29) Jenin (43) Jericho and Al Aghwar (22) Salfit (3) Tulkarem (31) the Gaza Strip (87) and the suburbs of Jerusalem (5).
655 recovery cases were recorded in the northern province as follows: 66 al-Khalil 57 Jenin 22 Tulkarem 21 Qalqilya 5 Salfit 79 Nablus 29 Bethlehem 6 Tubas and 370 suburbs of Jerusalem.
The recovery rate of coronavirus reached 87.1 percent while the rate of active infections reached 12.1 percent and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.
Kailah indicated that there are 41 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 8 who have been placed on ventilators.
