Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health in Ramallah announced on Monday afternoon that 4 deaths and 749 new cases of coronavirus had been recorded during the last 24 hours in Jerusalem West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
Kailah stated in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the new deaths were recorded for a female from Kafr Malik in Ramallah another woman from Ramallah and a third female from Salfit in addition to a man from Al-Arroub refugee camp in al-Khalil.
The new infections were distributed as follows: al-Khalil (67) Nablus (158) Bethlehem (28) Qalqilya (15) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (63) Jenin (52) Jericho and Al Aghwar (16) Salfit (8) Tulkarem (23) Tubas (4) the Gaza Strip (272) the suburbs of Jerusalem (9) and Jerusalem (in two days) (34).
438 new recoveries have been recorded according to the following: al-Khalil 54 Nablus 31 Jenin 15 Tulkarem 66 Qalqilya 11 Tubas 8 Salfit 7 Gaza Strip 106 the suburbs of Jerusalem 98 and Jerusalem 42.
Kailah pointed out that there are 37 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 8 who have been placed on ventilators.
