The Palestinian ministry of health announced on Wednesday that 8 deaths 514 new cases of coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that four deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip three in the West Bank and one in Jerusalem.
It pointed out that 17 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 21 were being treated in various Corona sections in West Bank hospitals and treatment centers including 7 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 98.9 percent while the rate of active infections reached 0.2 percent and the death rate was 0.9 percent of all infections the ministry underlined.
