Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Monday that two deaths 111 new cases of the coronavirus and 120 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours.
Kailah confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the two deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
She stated that the new infections were distributed as follows: Tulkarem 8 Qalqilya 2 Nablus 11 Jenin 6 al-Khalil 9 Bethlehem 1 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 2 and the Gaza Strip 72.
The new recovery cases were recorded according to the following: Nablus 6 Jenin 7 al-Khalil 8 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1 and the Gaza Strip 98 the minister added.
Kailah stated that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 98.5 percent while the rate of active infections reached 0.4 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
She pointed out that there are 13 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 595621 including 418013 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
