The Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Health on Wednesday announced that two COVID-19 (coronavirus) deaths and 602 new cases have been recorded in the Palestinian areas during the past 24 hours.
Mai al-Kaila Minister of Health said in the daily report the total number of deaths in Palestine has jumped to 152 with a rate of 0.6% while the recovery rate increased to 69.1%.
According to al-Kaila the new cases are distributed as the following: 205 in al-Khalil 12 in Nablus 61 in Bethlehem 38 in Qalqilya 88 in Ramallah and al-Bireh 4 in Jenin 18 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley 2 in Salfit 6 in Tulkarem 2 in Tubas 2 in the Gaza Strip and 203 in Jerusalem and its outskirts.
Meanwhile there are 29 patients in critical condition receiving treatment in intensive care units 4 of whom are put on ventilators.
