The national committee for the support of hunger strike called for organizing a general strike on Thursday April 27 in solidarity with Palestinian hunger striking captives who have been on hunger strike since April 17.
In a statement on Tuesday the committee said that the general strike will include commercial educational and services governmental institutions as well as the private sector. Health services and education of high school students will be exempted.
The statement called on Palestinians to participate in the sit-in tents set up in different West Bank governorates and urged them to increase the boycott of Israeli products.
