Jerusalemite institutions called on all Muslims around the world to frequent al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem and protect the holy shrine in light of the Israeli Judaization plans and policies especially in coincidence with the upcoming Jewish Sukkot holiday during October 4-13.
In a joint statement on Monday those institutions revealed that Israeli authorities are going to close the West Bank in order to offer protection to large numbers of settlers who will be heading to al-Aqsa Mosque throughout the holiday period.
The institutions which are mainly the Islamic Awqaf Council The Supreme Muslim Council Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Territories and Director General of Jerusalem Endowments along with other Jerusalemite authorities called on Jordan’s King Abdullah II to intervene urgently and pressure Israel in order to halt its Judaization policy.
