NABLUS (PIC)– The health condition of Palestinian prisoner Khaled Abu Hamad is deteriorating rapidly in the Israeli prison of Gilboa the Palestinian prisoner’s society said on Sunday.
It said quoting the prison doctor that Abu Hamad started to suffer from weakness and kidney shrinkage.
It added that family of the captive who are deprived of visiting him appealed to all international organizations to pressure the Israeli prison service to extend necessary treatment to him.
Raed Amer the director of the society in Nablus pointed to an increase in the number of sick prisoners in Israeli jails especially those with cancer.
He appealed to all concerned institutions to expedite efforts to save those prisoners before it was too late.
Abu Hamad who has been in captivity since 25/10/2003 is serving a life sentence.
