Egypt has brokered late Monday a ceasefire to stop the latest Israeli airstrikes on Gaza Strip.
Hamas media said the ceasefire went into effect at 10 p.m. (2000 GMT) Monday.
The ceasefire was reached after several Israeli airstrikes were launched across Gaza earlier Monday targeting resistance sites and civilian institutions.
Several injuries were reported during the airstrikes.
