Testimonies released by three Palestinian boys revealed that they had been made to endure systematic torture during and after detention by Israeli occupation forces.
Attorney Jacqueline Fararja from the Palestine Prisoners Society quoted 15-year-old Mohamed Sbeih from al-Khader town as stating that an Israeli patrol arrested him on December 18 before he was handcuffed and blindfolded.
He was later dragged to a military vehicle and subjected to heavy beating. Israeli soldiers hit him with their boots.
The child said the Israeli officers kept beating him on the way to DCO checkpoint in Bethlehem. He was later transferred to the Etzion detention center.
Lawyer Fararja said signs of heavy beating figure all over his body.
At the same time 16-year-old Hadi Salah said Israeli soldiers arrested him and transferred him to DCO checkpoint where he had been tied to a chair and left shivering for hours in the cold weather. He was later taken to the Etzion lock-up.
Meanwhile Sai’d Abdul Rahman 17 said an Israeli troop broke into his family home on December 17 and violently beat him up using boots and batons. Sai’d and his father were pepper-sprayed by the occupation forces before he was arrested.
Lawyer Anan Khader who paid a visit to the detainee in Hawara detention center said bruises and injuries still figure on his body.
