Wednesday 18-April-2018

At least five Palestinian citizens suffered injuries during an Israeli artillery attack on an area east of Khuza’a town in Khan Younis south of the Gaza Strip.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation army fired five artillery projectiles at an area near Khuza’a Martyrs School wounding five citizens one of them seriously.

Several homes also sustained damage in the bombed area the reporter added.

According to the Hebrew website 0404 the Israeli army claimed that its tanks targeted a military observation post belonging to Hamas in Gaza at the pretext that a group of citizens approached the border fence.

In a previous incident the Israeli artillery bombed on Tuesday evening a resistance observation post east of al-Bureij in central Gaza. The Israeli army claimed it responded to a shooting attack on its forces.
