A number of Palestinian civilians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at daybreak Friday in abduction sweeps rocking the West Bank.
The Israeli army claimed responsibility for the abduction of four Palestinians over allegations of involvement in anti-occupation activities.
Youngster Mohamed Marouh was kidnapped by the IOF from his family home in Nablus.
At the same time clashes burst out in Nablus’s Amman Street the entrance to Balata refugee camp and at the crossroads of Asira town where the occupation patrols targeted the Palestinians with heavy spates of teargas canisters.
The IOF further stormed Qarawat Bani Hassan town west of Salfit and kidnapped three young men.
Palestinian young man Saed Abu Eisheh was kidnapped by the IOF from his family home in the southern occupied West Bank province of al-Khalil.
The occupation army also seized thousands of shekels from Saed’s home and came down heavily on his family members. His mother sustained bruises in her hand.
Meanwhile Israeli troops ransacked the home of the Hamas leader Ayed Dudeen in al-Khalil’s southern town of al-Alaka a few hours after he was released from Israeli jails where he had served one years and a half in administrative detention with neither charge nor trial.
The IOF wreaked havoc on civilian homes in al-Khalil and Bethlehem sparking terror among children and women.
