A number of Palestinian young men and a photojournalist were wounded in Israeli occupation forces’ quelling of the weekly protest after the Friday prayer in Kafr Qaddum village to the east of Qalqiliya.
Local sources said that IOF soldiers opened live and metal bullets at the protest march along with teargas canisters that led to suffocation cases among the citizens.
Photojournalist Nidal Eshtiye and a number of youths were hit with rubber-coated metal bullets.
Inhabitants of Kafr Qaddum stage the weekly demonstration to protest the closure of the main road leading to the village since 2003.
