Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched on Tuesday night and at dawn Wednesday raids in various areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem during which several ex-prisoners were arrested.
In Nablus IOF stormed Qusra town southeast of Nablus and arrested Othman Hassan from his home after beating him searching his house and tampering with its contents.
The IOF soldiers assaulted Ahmed Bani Shamsa from Beita and detained him for a while then was released and taken to Rafidia Hospital.
In Qalqilya IOF soldiers broke into the houses of five ex-prisoners searched their houses and arrested them in addition to arresting two brothers after severely beating them.
In Bethlehem IOF raided the city at dawn and stormed two houses in the Wadi Maali area and a home for an ex-prisoner in the Old City. Local sources said that clashes erupted between the youths and IOF who fired bullets and tear gas canisters.
IOF also arrested the boy Mutassim Hijazi after raiding and searching his family’s house in Mount Al-Mawaleh in Bethlehem.
In al-Khalil IOF confiscated the equipment of the Palestinian Advertising Company in the Ein Sarah area before closing it.
In Occupied Jerusalem the Israeli police arrested the official of the al-Isawiya club Aziz Khaled Obaid after storming a party honoring students who succeeded in the high school exams.
The occupation police also arrested Ezz Al-Shobaki from Jerusalem after settlers attacked him while he was working as a bus driver.
