The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday evening closed the entrances of Azzun town to the east of Qalqilya city claiming that a group of Palestinian youths have attacked settlers’ vehicles with Molotov cocktails.
Local sources reported that the IOF soldiers broke into the town and started to search for the youths which sparked clashes in which the Palestinian citizens threw stones and empty bottles at the soldiers in protest at the closure.
They added that tension prevailed in Azzun especially after the IOF prevented the Palestinian residents from entering or leaving the town.
