Violent clashes broke out overnight and at dawn Wednesday in Kafel Hares town north of Salfit in protest against Israeli settlers’ provocative break-ins.
The confrontations erupted when Israeli occupation forces broke into the town in order to provide protection for the settlers who were storming a number of Islamic sites in the area according to eyewitnesses.
During the raids a curfew was imposed on local residents while IOF soldiers fired teargas bombs at a local secondary school.
Palestinian youths threw stones and empty bottles at the Israeli forces during the clashes.
