Violent clashes broke out on Wednesday evening between Palestinian young men and the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Abu Dis town east of Jerusalem.
According to local sources the clashes started after local residents staged a march to express their anger over the killing of a local young woman by Israeli soldiers near the east Jerusalem town of Hizma.
Moreover another march and a general strike will be organized today at 06:00 pm in Abu Dis in mourning for the slain woman and in protest at the ongoing Israeli crimes against the Palestinians in the West Bank.
The Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday morning cold-bloodedly killed 29-year-old Mai Afana as she mistakenly drove her car through a small dirt road which the Israeli army started to build about a week ago.
In Jerusalem similar clashes happened after police forces stormed Bir Ayoub neighborhood in Silwan district and attacked local residents with rubber bullets and stun and tear gas grenades.
During the clashes some young men were able to set fire to a pole holding Israeli security cameras in the neighborhood.
