The Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs has appealed to the Red Cross to delegate a medical team to examine the health of seven Palestinian female prisoners in Damon jail after they were tested positive for Covid-19.
According to the Commission the female prisoners who have contracted the virus are Shurouq Dawiyat Ruba Assi Shada Odeh Tasneem al-Assad Fadwa Hamada Shurouq al-Badan and Nourhan Awwad.
The Commission also urged the Red Cross provide the sick prisoners and the others in the jail with medicines food and sterilizers.
