Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza on Tuesday denied rumors that the head of the Committee ambassador Mohammed al-Emadi and his deputy Khalid al-Hardan left the Gaza Strip with no intention to return.
In a press statement on Tuesday the Committee said that Emadi’s visit to Gaza came as part of his regular visits to the coastal enclave pointing out that Emadi is expected to return to Gaza before the end of 2017 to open a number of projects and sign contracts for new ones.
The Committee affirmed that it will continue to support the Palestinian cause and fund projects in the Gaza Strip based on instructions by the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani despite the siege imposed on Qatar.
