Conference of Muslim Scholars on Saturday announced that efforts are underway to launch a charter prohibiting normalization with Israel on 18th December in Istanbul.
Muslim Scholar Wasfi Abu Zeid said that normalizing relations with Israel means undermining the Palestinian cause and approving Israel’s Judaization of Islamic holy sites.
Abu Zeid pointed out that a group of Muslim scholars following many sessions and scientific consultations will launch during a press conference on Monday a charter detailing the Islamic point of view on normalization its dangers at all levels and ways to confront it.
He affirmed that the charter is set to be published during the press conference to be held in Istanbul pointing out that it was translated into nine languages and signed by a big number of scholars and organizations from various Islamic countries.
He stressed that the charter comes in view of the growing efforts by some countries in the region to normalize relations with Israel.
