Palestinian Prime Minister Rami al-Hamdallah and Public Works Minister Mufid al-Hassaynah on Tuesday inaugurated the Qatari-funded al-Dhafer 4 residential facility in the blockaded Gaza Strip.
A number of Palestinian ministers and government officials attended the inauguration of al-Dhafer residential tower which was destroyed in the 2014 Israeli offensive on the enclave. The building was reconstructed with the support of Qatar.
Al-Hassaynah hailed the efforts made by Qatar Charity which he said come at a time when the Palestinian Ministry of Public Works and Housing has been facing serious challenges and had its offices destroyed.
He added that efforts have been underway to reconstruct the Italian complex and al-Nada apartments among other destroyed buildings.
